The Annual Atlanta
Black Theatre Festival is a festival that showcases 40 plays in 4 days, including
the Louisiana original play, She Still
Dreams.
Synopsis:
An
experience not to miss, She Still Dreams
follows Savannah through her life and
dreams, while telling the story of a girl that once carried a special light
inside of her who now, as a woman, is lost in loss and life. She lives a quiet
life, her husband doesn’t talk, and Savannah has accepted these circumstances
as her life, never to change. She Still Dreams showcases the beautiful
process of finding the way through discovered through Savannah’s own dreams
in
dynamic scenes that force her to express her deepest feelings and face her
life’s hardest questions until She Still
Dreams, not of what isn’t, but what can be.

produced, directed, and written by The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Performing
Arts alum, Outstanding Graduate, and Kennedy Center American College Theatre
Festival Honored Playwright, Brian Egland.
