Three men are accused of luring a man into a robbery-turned-murder by offering to sell him a nonexistent iPhone on Craigslist.

Two of the three men who have been charged in connection with the February murder of a Clark Atlanta University student appeared in court on Thursday and heard damning testimony against them.
According to WSB-TV, a detective on the witness stand said 19-year-old Jonathan Myles and 21-year-old Kaylnn Ruthenberg, along with 18-year-old Jordan Baker, admitted to investigators that they used a fake Craigslist ad to lure 21-year-old James Jones Jr. to a Marietta neighborhood with the intent to rob him.
Jones thought he was buying an iPhone 6; instead, he was robbed and shot to death while trying to drive away in his car. Prosecutors claim that the suspects took Jones’ Nike shoes off his feet as he lay dead or dying in the driver’s seat.
