Turner Field to be Sold to Georgia State
Georgia State University has won the bidding for Turner Field, according to an AJC report.
Georgia State University, long seen as the frontrunner for the stadium, has submitted a $300 million plan to convert Turner Field into a 30,000-seat football, soccer and track-and-field stadium. Their plan also calls for a new baseball park and academic buildings to go along with green space. >>>read more.
