Two New Midtown Restaurants May Be In The Works
Midtown's restaurant scene, which has gotten so much focus recently, is only getting more vibrant.

ATLANTA, GA — Two new restaurants are being rumored for Midtown Atlanta.
First, Eataly, an Italian market, is considering opening a Midtown Atlanta location at Colony Square. According to What Now Atlanta, North American Properties is in talks with Eataly to explore a new location in the Midtown retail and office development.
Eataly, founded in 2004, first market opened in Turin, Italy. Today, the chain has 28 locations around the world.

Also, What Now is reporting that Midtown's TOP FLR restaurant could reopen this fall as Bon Ton, a cajun-style restaurant.
Plans call for Bon Ton to occupy 1900 square feet at 674 Myrtle Street. The restaurant recently filed an application with the city to renovate the space to include new seating and booths, a new bar and restaurant equipment.

Midtown has recently gained national attention for its restaurant scene. Two Urban Licks was recently named one of the best restaurants in the world by Conde Nast, while Midtown chef Andrew Smith of West Egg Cafe won Georgia's Best Shrimp & Grits award at a recent Jekyll Island festival.
And Staplehouse was named America's Best New Restaurant earlier this year by Bon Appetit.
