Want a Good Paying Job? Go to Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech is No. 20 on a new list that ranks the nation’s best schools to attend ... if you want to find a good-paying job afterward.

The Princeton Review recently compiled a list of the 25 colleges with the nation’s best career placement that were featured “Colleges That Pay You Back: 2016 Edition.” The ratings not only talked to students and got their input, but also examined median starting and mid-career salaries for alumni.

Tech graduates’ median starting salary was $62,300, and their median mid-career salary was $112,600.

“Located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia Tech’s prime urban location puts a host of jobs and internships right at students’ fingertips,” the book said. “The school boosts students’ career prospects even further through programs likeCareerBuzz, an online job board that connects students directly with prospective employers, and workshops on everything from writing first-rate cover letters to applying for international internships.”
