Weather Causing Delays, Cancellations at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport

Flights to and from the Atlanta airport are being affected by nasty weather elsewhere in the country.

Our friends up north are slogging through some historically nasty winter weather, and its unpleasant effects are being felt by air travelers in the Peach State.

According to flight tracking website FlightAware, 61 flights coming to or leaving from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport on Monday have been cancelled. Of the 61 cancelled flights, 46 were scheduled to depart from Atlanta, causing major headaches for local air travelers. A further 34 flights have been delayed, likely due to weather conditions at other airports.

If you’re getting ready to take to the skies or are planning to head to the airport to pick someone up on Monday, it might not be a bad idea to double check the status of your flight. Below are some helpful links that will let you know if your flight is still on schedule.
