Yacht Rock Revue Performs "Purple Rain" in Piedmont Park, Benefiting The Piedmont Park Conservancy

Yacht Rock Revue Performs "Purple Rain" at Promenade and Legacy Fountain in Piedmont Park.

On Saturday May 16, 2015, Park Tavern is inviting music lovers to descend upon Piedmont Park for a special Yacht Rock Revue show benefiting The Piedmont Park Conservancy at the new The Promenade & Legacy Fountain. Yacht Rock Revue will perform Prince’s full “Purple Rain” album in addition to their traditional “smooth” sounds while attendees enjoy the fountain’s more than 70 jets that reach up to 30 feet in the air and feature magnificent LED-lighting. Park Tavern’s owner Paul Smith will also be making a $15,000 donation during the event to The Piedmont Conservancy, an organization that works tirelessly to enhance and preserve Piedmont Park as a vital urban green space and cultural and recreational resource that enriches the quality of life for all Atlantans. An age 21 and up event, attendees can also take advantage of an array of alcoholic beverages sponsored by Dos Equis, Heineken, Absolut and Jack Daniels. Tickets start at $20.
