Greater Atlanta Christian School’s Troy Bendickson was selected as the NSCAA Private/Parochial School Girls’ Soccer Coach of the Year for Georgia. Troy is the Head Coach of the Varsity Girls Soccer Team and the Senior High Dean of Students. Because of his selection as Coach of the Year for Georgia, Troy has also been nominated for the NSCAA National and Region III Girls’ Soccer Coach of the Year.
The Lady Spartans had a spectacular 2011-12 season, taking home the State AA Championship title. Coach Bendickson was named the Gwinnett Daily Post Girls Soccer Coach of the Year for 2011-12 and player Rachel Garcia was named Gwinnett Daily Post Player of the Year. They are looking forward to hitting the field again soon.
