Norcross Cluster Schools Hosting Gwinnett Braves Day
Local families and community groups will take a field trip to the ball park, with proceeds going to a teacher grant program.
On May 13, local familes, churches, offices and community groups can get together at the ball park for a Gwinnett Braves game, with the proceeds from ticket sales going to the Norcross Cluster Schools Partnership.
The tickets are $12 and must be purchased by April 27. The easiest way to score some seats is to go to the partnership's website. You can also get tickets through area schools.
A portion of the ticket money will support the NCSP's Teacher Grant program. Teachers in area schools can apply for the grants for the classroom, which will be evaluated by an independent committee.
