(wsbtv.com) — Norcross residents may be interested to know Waffle House runs a dedicated storm center in town that helps track hurricanes like Isaias and coordinate restaurant reopenings. After the storm, the chain reported 91 locations closed—most along the Gulf Coast—while more than a thousand remained open, using its color‑coded "Waffle House Index" to gauge damage and guide recovery plans.
