The parents now face reckless conduct charges, and the children, ages 1 to 8, are in state care while authorities continue investigating the family's living conditions and safety.
   

• Car theft ring hit 25 vehicles with hacked key tool, warrants say (wsbtv.com) — A series of car thefts in Gwinnett County hit Norcross especially hard, with four vehicles stolen from the same stretch of road over one May weekend. Police say two suspects used a key-programming device to target Infiniti and Nissan Maxima models, and local locksmiths are urging Norcross drivers to add extra protections like steering wheel locks, kill switches, and RFID-blocking boxes.
