As the two men left and were beginning to drive away, they got into a verbal argument with Mialik, who was standing in the parking lot. The argument escalated and the driver pulled an assault rifle from the vehicle and shot Mialik, according to police.

Officers arrived to find him on the ground in the parking lot with a single gunshot wound. Mialik was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Police do not have a very good description of the second man, who did not appear on the Valero's security camera.

Their vehicle is described as a white or silver SUV, possibly a Toyota 4-Runner or similar type of vehicle. Both suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about them is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or the Gwinnett County Police homicide unit at (770) 513-5300.
