100 Man March (women encouraged to attend!): Saturday, October 11, 2014, 9am-12pm ~ Atlanta/Decatur

100 Man March Co-Led by Atlanta 40 Days for Life, Dekalb County SCLC and BYOBB Media & Outreach

Atlanta 40 Days for Life, the Dekalb County SCLC, & BYOBB Media & Outreach are co-leading a 100 Man March on Saturday Oct. 11th!

(The SCLC is Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King’s organization, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference.)

Dekalb & Fulton Counties have the highest rates of abortion in GA. Men have no recognition or protection by the government of their God-given parental rights when it comes to abortion. Many moms facing unexpected or difficult pregnancies lack the support of the baby’s father.

Therefore we are calling all men to stand, walk & pray together in a peaceful, non-violent one-mile march from First Alliance Church on N. Druid Hills Rd. in Atlanta (near North Decatur) to the public right of way across from Feminist Women’s Health Center on Cliff Valley Way.

The purpose of this march is to encourage men to support the women in their lives who are facing unexpected or difficult pregnancies: to love these moms and their babies, to be there for them, and to encourage them in pursuing the help that both mom & baby need to live the gift of their lives to the fullest. Death is not the answer for baby, mom or dad.

This march is also an opportunity for dads of pre-born children to stand up for their parental rights which are not recognized or protected at all by the government when moms seek abortion.

Additionally, this event is an opportunity for men who have abortion in their past to find a time of healing & fellowship with other men who may have experienced it.

This event will begin at 9am with a gathering/welcoming time to include coffee & light breakfast items, followed by praise & worship led by the group, “ Adoration”. Three brief inspirational talks will follow: by Mr. Nathan Knight (President of the Dekalb SCLC), Mr. Virgil Simms (who will share testimony about a child of his lost to abortion), and Apostle Camy Arnett (founder of BYOBB Media & Outreach).

We will then march one mile in prayer to the right of way across from the abortion clinic, where we will be led in worship and intercessory prayer by “Adoration” & Apostle Camy Arnett. A brief time of silent prayer will follow.

A shuttle van will take us back to First Alliance by 12pm.

Women are encouraged to participate in the praise & worship & talks, as well as to go ahead to the clinic to welcome the men in prayer as they arrive there.

Signs will be provided for those who desire, or you can bring your own signs (please contact us for guidelines on wording).
