$5,000 Worth of Dog Beds to be Donated

FarmHouse Fresh plans the donation of 75 dog beds at PAWS Atlanta on March 24.

Texas-based FarmHouse Fresh plans a major donation of 75 comforting dog beds, valued at $5,000, to PAWS Atlanta.

The 75 beds will include small, medium, large beds in a range of thicknesses, plus kuranda beds and mats, so that the rescued dogs will no longer have to sleep on cold, hard concrete floors.

PAWS Atlanta is a private, not-for-profit animal welfare organization that is about to celebrate its 50th year as a “no-kill” shelter.

The donation of dog beds is part of FarmHouse Fresh’s new charitable initiative to help forgotten and abused animals, which includes publishing an 18-page picture book featuring shelter dogs, titled, "Is It True They Call You the Dog Bed Fairy?" Its retail price of $10 gives $7 from each book’s sale to the purchase of these beds. S

“Our goal is to bring smiles to dog and animal lovers, while providing comfort, warmth and love to our furry friends in shelters, plus raising public awareness of their need for a permanent home,” says Shannon McLinden, CEO and Founder of FarmHouse Fresh, a natural and organic skincare company located in McKinney, Texas. The company recently donated over $15,000 worth of dog beds to shelters in Texas, Florida, and Arizona.
