FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Atlanta Restaurateur of the Year Recognized by Springer Mountain Farms

North-Ga. Based Poultry Producer Awards Executive Chef Todd Ginsberg

Atlanta, Ga. (August 31, 2015) – Executive Chef and partner Todd Ginsberg of The General Muir, located in Atlanta’s historic Druid Hills neighborhood, has won the prestigious Springer Mountain Farms Celebrate the Chef Award. Ginsberg’s dedication and attention to detail, combined with his extensive culinary background, made him the leading candidate for the award.

Springer Mountain Farms, known for its flavorful, humanely raised chicken without antibiotics, presents the Celebrate the Chef Award each quarter to one Atlanta area chef who represents a top-tier restaurant that provides superior service and features its chicken on the menu. The award is part of Springer Mountain Farms’ commitment to supporting local, independent restaurants.

“Chef Ginsberg has established himself as a leader in the Atlanta restaurant community,” said Dale Faunce, marketing manager of Springer Mountain Farms. “His experience, passion and precision are what make him such an exceptional chef.”

Ginsberg was a James Beard Foundation semifinalist for Best Chef: Southeast in 2014 and 2015. He began his career at The Dining Room at the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta and spent time in New York City before returning to serve as the chef at TAP, Trois and Bocado prior to opening The General Muir.

“We carefully select each ingredient we use, which is why we serve Springer Mountain Farms chicken on our menu,” said Ginsberg. “Their commitment to serving the freshest, most flavorful chicken raised with no antibiotics has helped inspire some fantastic dishes. I’m very proud to be recognized by a company that shares our same values.”

Celebrate the Chef Award winners receive promotional assistance and a set of television appearances to showcase their restaurant, menu selections and talent.
