Ruffus Rescue Pet of the Week

Meet Miles -- Ruffus Rescue Pet of the Week

Hi, I'm Miles. I am a 2-year-old Boston Terrier/English Bulldog mix (I think). I am very cute, but I almost didn't make it out of the shelter because they get very crowded and my time was almost up.  Luckily, Ruffus Rescue especially likes that bulldog look, so they made a call and now I'm safe with them until I find my forever home.  I am so glad to be alive and I am a very happy dog.

As with many of the dogs that Ruffus Rescue saves, I had heartworms because I probably never got the monthly heartworm preventive that every dog in Georgia needs. Heartworms are carried and transmitted by mosquitoes and as we all know, there are lots of mosquitoes here in Georgia all year round.  Anyway, Ruffus Rescue had me treated and I'm doing just fine. I love my foster home and I get along great with my foster sisters, but I still need to find a forever home.

Ruffus Rescue has adoptions days every Saturday and Sunday from around 11AM - 5PM at the Pet Supplies "Plus" Store at the corner of LaVista Rd. and Cheshire Bridge Rd. in Atlanta.  Come see me there next weekend or call if you want to meet me sooner.

If you would like more information about me or any of the other Ruffus Rescue dogs, go to www.ruffusrescue.org or call 404-321-1274.

If you can't adopt a dog, we always need foster homes.  The more homes we have available, the more we can rescue from shelters.  If you can't foster, please consider making a donation.  All dogs are spayed/neutered, receive routine vaccinations, are heartworm tested (and treated, if necessary), and are microchipped. Ruffus Rescue is a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
