Accelerated CERT Program Coming To Toco Hills January 7th

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training is offered by Dekalb Emergency Management Agency to teach us skills we need to deal with a range of issues and emergencies.

This program covers topics from medical and emergency issues….we’ll put out a fire in the parking lot…work out with verbal judo…gain autism and terrorism awareness…know how to safely evacuate a building... and participate in a large-scale Emergency Drill with dozens of volunteers brought in to practice triage and first aid.

The CET program is offered by DeKalb Emergency Management Agency, and has multiple classes starting in early January. Contact DEMA for that list of Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday programs.
