The suspect pointed a gun at the victim’s head and demanded money. The victim said he had only $10 on him. The suspect asked “If I shoot you, will you tell me where the money is?”

Money stolen from Buford Highway Boost Mobile store
Two suspects took $300 from the Boost Mobile store at 3950 Buford Highway Aug. 31, police said.

At about 4:35pm, a sales associate at the store said two suspects entered the store. The first suspect showed a gun, pointed it at the associate and told her to give them money. She directed the second suspect to two cash registers, and he removed all the bills in them before asking her to show him the store’s safe located in a storage room. The associate said she could not access the safe and that it would set off an alarm if she tried. The second suspect told her to stay in the storage room and closed the door behind him before they exited the building. The associate was not injured.

The associate said security cameras captured the incident and that the manager would be able to look at the footage when he returned to work Sept. 2. An employee at nearby Skyland Package saw a white Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS park in the lot of his store. While the driver remained in the car, two men fitting the suspects’ descriptions left the car but did not go into Skyland or the appliance store next door.

The suspects’ descriptions are:

The victim was pumping gas when the suspect approached her from behind, put a gun to her head and told her to put down the pump or he would shoot her. She did so and shouted for her sister, who was sitting inside the car and saw the incident happening in the car’s mirrors. She left the vehicle and got her purse while she was leaving. The suspect then got in the car and fled. There were two witnesses. The car contained various items including clothes, hair products and accessories, a digital camera, credit cards and a cell phone.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches and 160 pounds, about 28 years, wearing a black shirt and pants, a black cap with an afro and armed with a black handgun.
