Motel 6 armed robbery
A man and woman staying at the Motel 6 (2810 Lawrenceville Highway) were victims of an armed robbery Oct. 26, police said.
At about 1:58am, the woman told police her boyfriend had left the room and she was standing outside the room smoking when she saw a man pacing back and forth in the motel parking lot. The suspect approached her and forced her into the room, pointing a black handgun at her. He asked her where the money was. He put the gun into her mouth and held her down on the bed before placing the gun on the dresser and to search for her clothes. She had $1,000 hidden inside the right cup of her bra, so he found that and took it. He also took her cell phone.
The suspect tied her hands behind her back and tied her legs together with white zip ties before locking her in the bathroom. She heard the suspect search the room and ransack it. By this time, the woman’s boyfriend had returned from smoking a cigarette in his car. He’d heard a door lock and saw the suspect run across the parking lot before getting into an unknown white sedan and driving onto Lawrenceville Highway.
