Raleway is just about the most unique looking Terrier that we have seen in a long time. His ears flop like a donkey’s and his nose looks like the Scarecrow’s in the Wizard of Oz. When you meet Raleway in person, he will win your heart with his looks, his soft wiry hair and beautiful eyes. Raleway had been living in a home with so many animals that his owner was forced to surrender Raleway. Because of the over-crowded living conditions. Raleway suffered from the lack of proper socialization. Even though he has been in a loving and caring foster home, Raleway still needs a lot of tender loving care and support. He is fearful of everything, but extremely sweet. He has already come a long way in understanding the sounds of his foster’s household. (The first week in foster care, he hid for two days after someone rang the doorbell.) Raleway is still fearful at mealtimes, but if you put his bowl down and walk away, he will eat. When you can catch him, he will melt into your arms and let you pet and hug him. Raleway’s foster mom is teaching him to relax, cuddle and nap in her arms so he will understand what is is to be loved by a human. Also, because of his background, Raleway is behind in housebreaking and leash walking. We are confident that he will master these skills with patient training.

Since Raleway is a year old, his adoption fee is $275 unless you have a senior or military ID, then you get an extra 25% off!
