Kim Edwards, the bestselling author of The Memory Keeper’s Daughter,  visits the library with her second novel, The Lake of Dreams. Hers is the story of a woman’s homecoming, a family secret, and the old house that holds the key to the true legacy of a family. It’s a novel with surprises at every turn and a puzzle to delight readers right up to the story’s climax. Her first novel was a No. 1 New York Times bestseller which drew millions of readers across the country. She also is the author of a short story collection, ”The Secrets of a Fire King.” She received a Whiting Writers Award in 2002 and has taught in the MFA programs at Waren Wilson and Washington University. She currently is an assistant professor of English at the University of Kentucky.
