Share your comments with the Board of Education and Superintendent Dr. Cheryl Atkinson in regard to the proposed budget for the 2012 - 2013 school year. The school system is projecting a $6 million shortfall this year and a $73 million shortfall next year. To balance the budget, Dr. Atkinson has proposed increasing class sizes by as much as three students and increasing taxes by as much as 2 mills.
