Hard Cider-Making Workshop

It's hard to imagine anything better than fresh pressed apple cider- except maybe homemade hard cider!  In this hands-on workshop participants will be using a good old-fashioned cider press to make apple cider, then turning it into a batch of hard cider!  We will be discussing a brief history of cider making, the necessary equipment, using spices, and sampling a variety of different hard ciders.  Bring a quart jar (and wild/local apples if you have access to them) and leave with fresh cider! Limited to participants 21+ years old.

Your brewmeisters for the day will be Brent Hall and Kevin Frazier.  Brent is a farmer and brewer from the wild apple country of Maine, and has made a seasonal tradition of pressing and fermenting cider each fall. Kevin is a Georgian farmer and passionate homebrewer with years of quality brews under his belt.

The fee for this workshop is $15. Participants receive 10% off purchases made on the day of the workshop, some restrictions apply. Click here (http://www.farmerd.com/product/garden-workshops/farmer_d_workshops) or call us at 404-325-0128 to sign up! E-mail contact: brent@farmerd.com
