A fun and entertaining way for parents and babies to learn signs together. This series of play classes helps parents and babies learn signs through theme-based songs, games, books and activities. Each class also includes a parent education component to help learn more about their child’s literacy and language development.
Parents need to purchase the Sign, Say & Play Kit for Families ($50) at the first session from the instructor. Kit includes Music CD/Songbook, Dictionary DVD, Signs DVD, Journal and 2 board books.
Valerie Bernham has a Bachelor’s degree in Audiology & Speech and has been a professional Sign Language Interpreter for over 20 years. She signed with her own four daughters. She will be assisted by Calynn Torres, a child of deaf parents and native signer.
