Parents of children with mental illness, developmental disabilities and learning disabilities are often at a loss with how to best help their children. After the devastating diagnosis they are expected to navigate a system that is not equipped to answer all of their questions and hold their hand through the confusing and often contradictory advice that is available. NAMI DeKalb, Parent to Parent of Georgia, the Georgia Council for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and our host the Marcus Autism Center have come together to assist families through this trying time.
