Join REI and The North Face for a two-part event to educate, inspire and have fun! On Friday, 8/17, The North Face Athlete and Role Model Megan Pischke will host an evening at REI Atlanta sharing their personal achievements, inspirations, and how they make it fun and easy to get outside with their kids. The athlete will be joined by REI staff to highlight nearby kid-friendly destinations that any family can enjoy together.
On Saturday, 8/18, REI will make it easy to get your kids outside with a morning full of fun family campsite activities at Arabia Mountain. REI and TNF will bring the gear, you bring the family! Activities include Optional activities include Leave No Trace, Promoting Environmental Awareness in Kids, make your own trail mix, and a short hike plus get free giveaways from REI and TNF.
The Friday, 8/17, event will be at REI Atlanta from 7-8pm. It is tailored for parents (although kids are welcome, too!).
The Saturday, 8/18, event is from 10am-1pm at Arabia Mountain off Klondike Rd. Activities are open to parents and kids of all ages.
