North Druid Hills Woman Held at Gunpoint

The woman was grabbed before entering her apartment near North DeKalb Mall on Monday night. After a neighbor interrupted, two suspects fled without taking anything.

A North Druid Hills woman was grabbed and held at gunpoint in front of her apartment near on Monday, DeKalb County police said.

The 42-year-old victim was entering her apartment at 3025 Cedar Creek Parkway when she was grabbed as she opened the front door shortly before 11pm, the police report said. One of two suspects grabbed her from behind, held her mouth and placed one of her hands behind her back.

The victim broke loose, fell into her apartment and screamed. A neighbor opened her door, and the suspects fled on foot. The victim told police one of the suspects carried a black handgun.
