Shallowford Presby. Invites Public to Lenten Vespers Services
Lenten Vespers offers five-week series of brief services for prayer, communion and contemplation
Shallowford Presby. will host a five-week Lenten Vespers series of short services for prayer, communion and contemplation beginning Wednesday, March 13 and running through April 10, from 7:00-7:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary. Childcare is provided.
Shallowford Presby.’s ministers, the Reverends, Foster, Jernigan and Kibler will lead the services. "The season of Lent is a time to examine our spiritual lives and deepen our commitment to Jesus Christ," said Rev. John Semmes. "On the Wednesday evenings during Lent, come and take part in a series of short Vesper services. Gather to pause, pray, be silent, hear God’s Word, sing and receive the Lord’s Supper."
