Show off your Spelling and Word Skills at Literacy Action Charity Event

Spellabration is a fun and competitive night that puts some of Atlanta’s smartest minds to test while raising money for Literacy Action, Georgia’s oldest and largest provider of adult education. Hosted at the Fabulous Fox Theater Thursday, June 4, 2015, 6:00 pm, Spellabration will include several rounds of Spelling Bees and speed Scrabble.

Each year close to 300 attendees participate in the Spellabration competition. Many of the region’s top companies purchase tables and send teams to compete. King & Spalding LLP has won the completion the past two years. Can your team break their winning trend?

Every four years, Georgia is producing approximately 37,500 high school dropouts, a population that if put together would be the 17th largest municipality in the state. Literacy Action, Georgia’s oldest and largest provider of adult education, builds better futures by teaching literacy, life and work skills that empower them to reach their highest potential.
