BURNING MAN by The Circle Ensemble Theatre

The Circle Ensemble Theatre's New Play Series 2012 selection is BURNING MAN by Atlanta playwright, Pamela Turner.

Once a year, tens of thousands of participants gather in Nevada's Black Rock Desert to create Black Rock City, dedicated to community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance and considered one of the largest counter-culture festivals in America. They depart one week later, having left no trace whatsoever. When this festival overlaps a sensational capital punishment case the day of the scheduled execution, all the players come together to dissect the various sides of the issue and attempt to come up with a justified solution for all.

The Circle Ensemble Theatre’s production of Burning Man will perform at 7:30 p.m. April 26, 27 and 28 and at 2:00 p.m. on April 28 at Seney-Stovall Chapel (201 North Milledge Avenue). See circleensembletheatre.com or call (706) 613-3770 for tickets.
