As Georgia lawmakers wind through the busy legislative season, a familiar measure has popped up for consideration in the House. House Resolution 644, which would formally recognize April 26 as Confederate Memorial Day, was introduced this week by Republican Rep. Tommy Benton of Jefferson.

Braves Say No To Food, Beverages Brought Into SunTrust Park
The Atlanta Braves have changed the policy regarding food and beverages that fans are permitted to bring into the new SunTrust Park,according to a report in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Beginning this season, ticketholders will not be allowed to bring in outside food or beverages, the newspaper reported.
