The bodies had been decomposing for quite some time and Norcross PD said in a statement that it was not immediately known the genders or ages of the deceased.
Norcross PD said officers were flagged down by a man cutting the grass at 459 North Norcross Tucker around 2:45 p.m. Monday, alerting them that he smelled a “strong of something deceased” coming from the house. The man, described as the landlord in media reports, told police the house was rented by a Vietnamese woman who had not been seen in weeks, police said.

“Officers also smelled the odor and, after being unable to get anyone to the door, forced entry into the home,” Norcross PD said in the statement. “Officers found 2 people, deceased, in what appeared to be at least several days, if not weeks, of decomposition.”
Police and the GBI are investigating the scene and interviewing neighbors.
“At this time there is no further information about cause or manner of death,” police said in the statement.
