2 Gwinnett Men Arrested in Ringgold Were 'Major Distributors' of Meth

They were caught with $30,000 worth of the drug during a traffic stop in Ringgold.

Two Gwinnett County men considered “major distributors” of methamphetamine from Atlanta to Chattanooga were caught with $30,000 worth of the drug during a traffic stop in Ringgold, Ga.

According to a Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office news release dated Oct. 22, Jesus Humberto Lopez Deanda, 27, of Lilburn, and Mitchell L. Mary Cordova, 24, of Duluth, have been charged with possession and trafficking of methamphetamine. Deanda faces additional charges.

The two were stopped by deputies on Highway 41 in Ringgold around 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21.

“Investigation into these two individuals has revealed that they are major distributors of methamphetamine from the metro Atlanta, GA area to the metro Chattanooga, TN area,” the sheriff’s office said.

Both men are being held without bond in the Catoosa County jail.
