Another Candidate Withdraws from Chairman’s Race

Another candidate has pulled out of the race for chair of the Gwinnett County Board of Commissioners.

Bob Clark withdrew his candidacy this morning, according to officials with the Gwinnett County Elections Office.

Clark is the second candidate to pull out of the race. Timothy Swiney withdrew on Dec. 21 citing family obligations.

Charlotte Nash  of Dacula, Larry Gause of Tucker, Gerald Duane Kissel of Snellville and Will Costa of Lilburn remain in the running for the seat formerly held by Charles Bannister.

The special election is scheduled for March 15.
