Art on the Chattahoochee Art Market Set For Saturday

PEACHTREE CORNERS, GA -- At a new location for the first time, the Art on Chattahoochee Art Market returns for its fifth year on Saturday.

The market, now at Simpsonwood Park, at 4511 Jones Bridge Road in Peachtree Corners, will be open from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Organizers say the event will host some of the most eclectic artists and crafters of metro Atlanta to showcase and sell their work.

There also will be artist demonstrations, live performances and food trucks. For the first time this year, the market will kick off with a Fun Run at 9 a.m., followed by a Kids Chalk Art contest from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Designs submitted for a graphic design contest this year will be displayed at the event, along with the winning logos.

Live performances will include the Steppin' Out Tap Dancers, magician Evan West, and live sets by acoustic performer Will Taylor and rock band The Waves.

Also featured will be a Budding Artist Kid's Zone with crafts, spin art, giant board games, inflatables and more.
