Bank Robbery Suspect: 'Give Me All the Money in Your Drawer'

Police seek man who robbed the bank Monday near Peachtree Corners then pedaled away on a red bicycle.

The suspect in Monday morning’s robbery of the Associated Credit Union branch on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard stepped to a teller’s window and mumbled something before telling her to clean out the cash drawer.

According to the Gwinnett Police incident report, the teller wasn’t sure at first what he was asking, so she asked him to repeat what he said.

“Give me all the money in your drawer,” he said, according to the incident report.

The robbery occurred after 8 a.m. at the Associated Credit Union located at 4895 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, just blocks away from the Peachtree Corners city limits. No one was injured.

The teller told police she started removing cash from her drawer and once she reached the $10 bills, he said, “That’s enough,” before walking out the door.

The suspect was described in the incident report as a black male standing around 5 feet, 6 inches and weighing 150 pounds. He was wearing a gray hooded jacket and a skull cap. He also had what appeared to be scars on his face, the report said.

He did not mention having a weapon, nor made it appear that he had one, the report said.

He made off with $7,430, according to the incident report.
