Blessing of the Animals at Christ the King

Christ the King Lutheran Church is hosting Blessing of the Animals on Saturday, October 4 at 10 a.m., to celebrate the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. The public is invited to bring furry, feathered, or scaly friends to Christ the King to receive a blessing, but please keep them on leashes or in carriers. Blessings for a favorite stuffed animal for the little ones will even be given!
