Can Poor Communication

It’s been another one of those days where a particular grammar peeve of mine seems to be flowing as abundantly as the Mississippi in Spring. All around me I keep hearing people say, “I just could care less!” What they really mean is that they couldn’t care less, because if they can care less, whatever they are talking about has some importance to them.
