Burglar Hits Peachtree Corners Condo While Owner Was Away for Afternoon
Inside Police Reports: More than $6,000 in damages and stolen items were reported.

A Peachtree Corners condo was burglarized on a recent afternoon while the resident was away for just a few hours.
The result was more than $6,000 in damages and stolen items.
According to a Gwinnett Police incident report, someone broke into the condo on Brandywine Trail in the Apple Valley Condominium complex between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 14. Stolen were $5,900 worth of cash, jewelry, electronics and cologne. More than $200 in damages was reported to a back window and door. The burglar threw a cement block through the window to gain access to the condo, the incident report said.

The man told police he did not set the home alarm because he didn’t think he’d be away for very long.
