Car Crashes into Norcross-Area Lounge; News Nearby
The incident happened Friday around 8 p.m. at Hush Sports Bar and Lounge.
A car crashed into a Norcross-area business Friday night, according to Gwinnett Fire.
The incident happened around 8 p.m. Friday at the Hush Sports Bar and Lounge on Beaver Ruin Road. No serious injuries were reported.
“Crews arrived on the scene to find one small passenger car had struck the glass door and windows on the front of the business (located in a strip shopping mall),” Gwinnett Fire Lt. Jerrod Barrett said in an email. “Firefighters reported that the vehicle also struck a small gas line inside the structure.”

The gas was shut off for the department’s hazardous materials team to investigate. There was no evidence of a gas leak, Barrett said.
The vehicle was removed and no structural damage was seen at the business.

The driver of the car did not want to be taken to the hospital.
No other information was immediately released.
