Christ the King Lutheran Church Welcomes New Music Director
John Burke , a Grammy-nominated pianist and composer, was recently named Director of Music and Worship at Christ the King Lutheran Church
Christ the King Lutheran Church is pleased to announce the promotion of John Burke to the position of Director of Music and Worship. Previously, Burke was the Director of Communications and the Associate Music Director at Christ the King.
Burke is a Grammy-nominated pianist and composer from Atlanta. A graduate of Oglethorpe University and Georgia State University, Burke originally studied to become a Spanish diplomat before pursuing a career in music. He has directed various choirs and ensembles around Atlanta and composed music for theatre, film, and many other projects.
