City Council Schedules Special Called Work Session

In Tuesday night's meeting the Peachtree Corners City Council to hear update on new City Hall facility.

The Peachtree Corners City Council will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the Fowler YMCA to hear reports and updates on a variety of topics.

On the agenda are reports and presentations from the city's consultants. The City Council will get an update on the City Hall facility along with details in Information Services and IT Services.

The Council will also receive an update on the Status of the Tax Anticipation Note (TAN) Request for Proposal. The TAN is a $500,000 loan which the city will use to operate until it begins collecting revenues from property taxes and franchise fees.

Pond & Company, the organization hired by the city to provide liaison services with Gwinnett County, will provide an update on the status of the Community Development Planning Issues and Review of Land Use Training Opportunities.

There is no opportunity for Public Comments included in the agenda.
