Did This Man Rob You?

Police looking for more victims of armed robber who pretended he wanted to buy smartphones online, then stole them.

NORCROSS, GA -- Police are looking for more victims of a man they say pretended to buy smartphones from online sellers, then stole those phones at gunpoint.

Zarquavis Nigel Nalls was arrested in January after police executed a search warrant at his home at Gwinnett Pointe Apartments, at 1300 Beaver Ruin Road in unincorporated Norcross.

So far, police have been able to identify seven victims who say Nalls robbed them, though they suspect there are more. He is currently charged with four counts of armed robbery and seven counts of aggravated assault.

All of the victims say they were using OfferUp, a mobile app, to sell smartphones when they were contacted by Nalls.

They all agreed to meet him at the 7000 building of his apartment complex to sell either an iPhone or Samsung smartphone, police said. They each told police he agreed to buy the phone, then pulled a black, semi-automatic handgun on them and told them to leave without paying.

On January 6, one of the victims saw Nalls then enter the 9000 building of the complex, police say. That’s when they were able to locate his residence and serve a search warrant, during which he was arrested without incident.

Nalls is described as standing between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7 and weighing from 275-300 pounds. All the victims said he wore a tan Tommy Hilfiger jacket with a black hooded sweatshirt beneath it, with long pants and tan, Timberland-style boots.

He is currently being held without bond at Gwinnett County Jail.

Anyone else who thinks they may have been a victim of Nalls is encouraged to contact the Gwinnett County Police Department’s robbery unit at 770 513-5378.
