Divers Search for Missing Woman at Lake Lanier
Authorities say she jumped off a boat around 8:20 p.m. on Labor Day, but did not surface.
Authorities with Hall County and the Georgia DNR were searching Tuesday morning for a possible drowning victim on Lake Lanier.
The Gainesville Times reported Hall County Fire Services responded to a call around 8 p.m. Monday after a report of the possible drowning near Big Creek Park on the south end of the lake.

The AJC reported a woman jumped off a boat around 8:20 p.m. Monday, but wasn’t seen coming back to the surface. Her name has not been released.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office dive team and DNR rangers were using electronic equipment to search the area.
