DNA from Duct Tape Helps Cops ID Robbery Suspect: Report

Norcross Police said DNA evidence from duct tape used in a June robbery at a local motel led to the identification of the alleged perpetrator. He is accused of robbing a guest at the Days Inn, on Western Hills Drive in Norcross, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

The GBI lab tested the tape used to tie up the victim and found a match to Jay Bernard Pope, who is being sought.
