Duluth Girl Scout Troop 3626 has 12 Cadets working towards their Silver Awards and several are working in collaboration with Empty Bowls Norcross to address hunger in our community. The girls have been facilitating painting bowls with other Girl Scouts and community members at Eye Candy Art Studio in Downtown Duluth. The scouts have collected over 100 bowls to donate to this year’s event. Event Coordinator, Ellen McCorkle anticipates having over 400 bowls for people to choose from on the day of the event.

Bowls are also made and donated by local potters, some who are masters at their craft.
