WATER AND ICE STATIONS

Water & Ice stops are located at every 2 miles along the 13.1 -mile course (more often as the weather dictates). Rest assured we will take every precaution.

REGISTRATION PACKET PICK-UP

Registrations are non-refundable, however, can be transferable to another GC running event. The Georgia Cup Health & Wellness supports a variety of local charities and active civic organizations. We also encourage donations to the Happy Hearts Fund - http://www.happyheartsfund.org/.

RACE TIMING

RACE TIMING ALL GC will use electronic BIB TAG timing for all events. Runners will receive a gun time - net to each finish based upon elapsed time. Results included; Gun Start (including Wave Starts), your finish time, elapsed time, Age Group rank and Overall Rank. Per USATF Rule 245 all awards are based on gun times. 3 hr time limit. Your race number can ONLY be picked up on race day before the start. T-Shirts & other Swag will be at the finish.

HALF MARATHON Awards

Special awards will be given to the overall male and female winners, as well as the male and female masters (40+) winners. Awards will also be given to the top three finishers, both male and female, in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60 & Over. Per USATF Rule 245 all awards are based on gun times

5k AWARDS

Special awards will be given to the overall male and female winners and also to the top three finishers, both male and female, in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60- & Over.
