Christmas in the Corners Christmas Parade!

Mark your calendar for November 22 (the Saturday before Thanksgiving) for the Second Annual Peachtree Corners Holiday Parade with Food Trucks and Village Shoppes. As the newest and largest city in Gwinnett County we are creating traditions to call our own. The holidays are the perfect time to begin something that will make special memories for our citizens for generations to come. The theme of this year’s parade is “Holidays Around the World.”

The parade will take place on The Corners Parkway. It’s a lovely tree-lined street with ample parking for all parade-goers. The parade will wrap-up on “Candy Cane Lane” where Santa’s workshop will be set up talk to the children, give them treats and an opportunity for a keepsake photo. We also have a great line-up of the most popular Food Trucks around, who will be set up until at least 5 p.m., as well as the expanded “Village Shoppes” which will be a great selection of Art and Crafts booths to kick off you holiday shopping. Plans are also being made for a children’s shopping area where they can choose items for their gift-giving, for under $10.

If you would like to volunteer for the Parade Committee , inquire about a vendor application, or your group (scouts, band, school organization, etc.) or business would like to create a float or don something festive and be a part of the parade, please go to the website for registration information or call 678-429-2550.

Christmas in the Corners, Inc. is organizing the parade. The non-profit organization was formed in 2013 with the collaboration of local citizens and business owners with a desire to create an increased sense of community through events, promoting shopping locally and providing new educational opportunities for the youth of Peachtree Corners through community involvement, volunteerism and other means.

As the holiday approaches, shoppers will also be able to take advantage of the special promotions provided by businesses participating in Christmas in the Corners promotions. Participating merchants will be offering savings and enticing door-buster specials.
