Firefighter Uses Oxygen to Revive Cats Caught in Blaze

Three cats were rescued from a Sunday house fire near Norcross

Gwinnett firefighters rescued three cats from a Norcross-area house fire Sunday evening, and needed to administer oxygen to revive two of the pets.

Gwinnett Fire said in a news release the cats were removed from a fire that occurred after 6 p.m. Sunday on Spender Drive. The residents were not home at the time of the fire, which is believed to be accidental.

Gwinnett Fire Lt. James Jester said Firefighter Corey Dale gave oxygen to the cats when they looked severely lethargic.
