Fitness Center Opens in Peachtree Corners

The city of Peachtree Corners is now home to a new fitness center. Orangetheory Fitness officially opened its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, April 2. Mayor Mike Mason was on hand to welcome the new business.

The new center, located at 5270 Peachtree Parkway, Suite 105, is a few doors down from the new Earth Fare grocer that recently opened.

“We are happy to welcome Orangetheory Fitness into the Peachtree Corners business community,” said Mayor Mike Mason. “This location should serve you well as it is right across from the site of the city’s new town center which is expected to open in the fall of 2017,” the mayor told the business’s owner Nooruddin Panjwani.

With the opening of the Peachtree Corners store, Orangetheory Fitness now has nine locations in Georgia. The fitness center offers a heart-rate monitored high-intensity group training program that is broken into intervals of cardiovascular and strength. The 1-hour training classes are led by personal trainers. Participants use a variety of equipment including treadmills, Panjwani said he was introduced to the program a year ago through his son, Samir, who took his father to a nearby location to work out. “I became hooked on the classes,” said Panjwani.

“The Orangetheory formula is unlike anything else in fitness. Group work outs coupled with personal trainers help inspire participants to stick to their goals and reach higher plateaus. Each studio offers state-of-the-art equipment, contemporary lighting and separate men’s and women’s locker rooms and showers.
